Terms & Conditions
The Terms and Conditions below applies to all items purchased from Parisilk Electronics & Computers Pte Ltd (“Parisilk”) through its website www.parisilk.com (“the website”). By browsing, enquiring or purchasing on “the website”, you agree to oblige by its Terms and Conditions and all disclaimers that appear anywhere on “the website”. “Parisilk” reserves the right to amend and terms and conditions without prior notice.
1. Orders & Payments
a. Purchasing from the website
All orders through “the website” are subject to acceptance by “Parisilk”. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you “the customer” and “Parisilk” will take place on the dispatch to you of the purchased items, and until that time, we reserve the right to reject your order. “Parisilk” shall be entitled to terminate the obligations to fulfil any orders, for any reasons, even after an order has been confirmed by, and paid by the customer, with or without notice and “Parisilk” shall not be liable to any party for such termination or cancellation. In any such event, “the customer” shall be refunded the price of the goods purchased in full.
b. Payment Terms
All prices quoted on “The website” are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST). All payments through “the website” has to go through PayPal, and for Cash upon Delivery option, only cash is accepted. For Cash upon Collection, “the customer” is allowed to pay by either Cash/Nets/Visa/Mastercard.
For instalment plans, “Parisilk” accepts OCBC, Standard Chartered, UOB, DBS Credit card instalments. There is a 5% administration charge applicable for all instalment plans.
2. Delivery, Self-Collection & Installation
a. Delivery
Delivery of items purchased from “the website” is chargeable at $20 per trip. In the event the total order amount exceeds $200, the delivery charge is waived. Upon receiving your order, an Online Sales Representative will call “the customer” to schedule a convenient time for delivery. Delivery can only be done to addresses in mainland Singapore (Sentosa included).
b. Walk Up Apartments/Delivery to Basement/Second Floor/Third Floor
Delivery for larger items, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, wine cellars to locations where staircases have to be used are chargeable at $30 extra.
c. Disposal of old machines
Disposal of old machines are chargeable please call 6471-2329 for more information.
d. Self-Collection
Self-Collection location can be chosen upon purchasing. “The customer” will receive a phone call once his/her item is ready for collection at their desired outlet. For self-collections, please bring along:
- -The Customer’s NRIC
- -Printed copy of the confirmation email from “Parisilk”
Collection can only be done once “the customer” receives a phone call from “Parisilk”. “Parisilk” reserves the right to reject to release the items to the customer without the necessary documentation listed above.
Self-collection has to be carried out within 30 days from the date of invoice, afterwhich the items will be transferred back to the warehouse. To self-collect these items, “the customer” will need to call 6471 2329 to request for a goods transfer to the desired outlet.
e. Installation
Installation is included for all refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, wine cellars, televisions above 39”.
Any additional installation necessities, such as tap adaptors, T-Joints and Y-Joints, cables are to be provided by the customer or chargeable on site.
3. Cancellations, Exchanges & Returns
In the event “the customer” is not satisfied with the purchased product, “the customer” has the right to bring it back into one of “Parisilk” outlets in its original condition, unused, with its original invoice to exchange the item for another item, or for a store credit valid for 6 months from date of return, within 7 days of the purchase date. No cash refunds are allowed.
For items with seals, such as Samsung Tablets, seals have to be unbroken.
Ink cartridges and software’s are only exchangeable if they are unopened.
For items that were delivered, the delivery charges will be deducted from the credit amount.
4. Product & Extended Warranty
All Products sold by “Parisilk” comes with local warranties. Warranty is covered by the respective local agents or distributors of the brands purchased. “Parisilk” offers a 7 days one-to-one exchange on any manufacturing defects. Products are to be exchanged in its original condition, with all its original packing materials.
“Parisilk” offers extended warranty on our products. For details or to apply for extended warranty, please visit one of our outlets.
5. Use of Data
All content found on “The Website” belongs wholly to the respective agents and distributors of the brands. “The customer” may not:
a. Modify or Copy any content
b. Use the content for any commercial purpose, or for any public display
c. Remove any copyright notations from the content
d. Transfer the content to another person or server
6. Variation in use
“Parisilk” reserves the right to amend, change or remove these terms and conditions at our discretion without any notice to “the customer”. “The customer” is recommended to review this Terms & Conditions each time he/she uses “the website”. If “the customer” do not agree with the Terms & Conditions stated here, “the customer” agrees to not use “the website” for browsing, enquiring or purchasing. Any visits, enquiries, purchases made by “the customer” acts as your acceptance to our Terms & Conditions.
7. Disclaimers
By using “the website”, “the customer” agree the use at his/her own risk. “The Website” is provided on an “as is” or “as available” basis. “Parisilk” or any of our respective directors, employees, contractors, suppliers or “Associates” warrant that the use of “the website” is error-free. Neither one of the mentioned warrants the accuracy, integrity or completeness of the content provided on “the website” or the products offers for sale on “the website”. “Parisilk” also makes no representation of the content provided on “the website” is applicable outside mainland Singapore (Sentosa included).
8. Termination of Use
“Parisilk” may, at its sole discretion, terminate “the customer” account or use of “the website” at any time. “The customer” is personally liable for any orders or purchases made using his/her account prior to termination. “Parisilk” reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue any or all aspects of “the website” at any time without prior notice.
9. Contracts
A person who is not a part of these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of Singapore. Both ‘Parisilk’ and ‘the customer’ unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
